Winning the Fight For Sisterhood

Can I keep it real, sis? I’m a woman and I love us for real, but too many of us make it difficult for others to genuinely love and support us. This is why I really stress the importance of making sure that we get our minds right and heal completely from past painful and traumatic experiences.  Recently, I really considered giving up on my mission to unite and empower women through Women by Choice because I got tired of dealing with women. Not all women, but enough to skew my perspective on whether fighting for sisterhood and unity among women is still worth my time, energy, and sacrifices. 5 Ways to Increase Peace and Decrease Stress

I’m noticing that the older I get, the more I’m making peace a priority. I’ve learned that while there are definitely outside forces that can impact my stress level (if I allow it to), a lot of stress can be avoided by making better choices and being more intentional about how I spend my time and energy. 33 Choices Every Woman Should Make

In a few days, I will celebrate my 33rd birthday so I’ve been taking time to reflect over all that I’ve experienced and learned thus far. Perhaps one of the best lessons life has taught me is that my choices are what shape my life. Over the years, I can see how my relationships, health, career, and finances improved as my choices improved. Although every woman has different goals, these are 33 choices I think all women should make to be happier, healthier, and more successful in their lives and careers. Choose to love yourself more than your desire to be liked, accepted, or validated by others. Choose to do what you know is in your best interest even when...
